Another ex-convict has been arrested for yielding shabu when he ran amok near a clinic along J. Borja St in Poblacion 2, this city.
Police identified the suspect as a certain Grivell Calamba, also known as Bem-Bem, a resident of Poblacion 2, this city.
SPO4 Luciano Fuentes and PO2 Jan Marvin Enriquez of the city police responded to an alarm on Thursday morning about a man running amok near Dominguez Pedia Clinic and when they arrived at the scene, they saw Calamba’s father with bloodied right ear.
Based on initial investigation, Calamba slashed the ear of his father.
When the cops frisked Calamba, they found a sachet of shabu and the cutter used in the slashing the older Calamba’s ear.
However, the barangay officials were on a Lakbay-Aral to Palawan and none of them was left to witness the inventory of items seized from Calamba.
Only the representative of the Department of Justice and members of media were there as witnesses of the incident.
Calamba was detained at the lock-up jail of the city police and three complaints had been prepared against him.
