It stared with a Motorcade at 9am on Monday, June 8th; starting point is at crossing going to Sta. Fe beach – then to boundary of Albur and Baclayon, converged at Albur public market for the ribbon cutting; blessing and inauguration of BEA-funded comfort room and DA-funded tissue culture laboratory; tuba and kinilaw blind tasting competition.
The event was participated by municipal and barangay officals; municipal and NGA employees; business sector; Iglesia Ni Cristo; Born Again Christians; Seventh Day Adventist Church; DepEd (elementary and high school); PNP; CSOs.
On June 9, morning was the Thanksgiving mass at 9 at the municipal gym attended by LGU officials and employees; barangay officials; NGA personnel; high school and elementary teachers; some invited guests. Mass celebrant was Sta. MOnica Parish priest, Fr. Andres Ayco.
In the evening: of June 9th was the Interfaith Evening of Talents and Awarding ceremonies: Distinguished guests were Gov. Edgar M. Chatto; Engr. Archie Lungay from office of Cong. Rene Relampagos; Mr. Larry Pamugas of OPA.  (PR/Vera)
