Elements of Jagna police scored anew in another buy-bust operation resulting to the arrest what they tagged as “notorious drug pusher” operating in their town and nearby town of Duero.
The police team, led by PCInsp. Almirante Bacayo, conducted the buy-bust operation 11:20 a.m. on November 17 in Barangay Pangdan in Jagna, resulting to the arrest of one Gideon Achacoso.

Achacoso, a 37-years-old resident of Barangay Madua sur in Duero, married, yielded one heat-sealed sachet containing shabu and two pieces of 100-peso bill used as marked money during the buy-bust.

The police team further recovered three more sachets of shabu, a cellphone, and one Yamaha Mio registered under the name of Gina Achacoso Mangrobang from the Achacoso.

With Bacayo during the operation were PO3 Virgilio Salazar Jr., PO1 Ronald Colita, PO1 Nelson Biscocho and PO1 Adolfo Madera Jr., in coordination with PDEA.

The inventory of items confiscated from Achacoso was conducted at Jagna police station in the presence of the arrested person, Pangdan Barangay Captain Arturo Bulias, Barangay Kagawad Victor Ampo, and a
representative of the media.

In Baclayon, a team from the municipal police led by PSInsp. Vincent Paul Dumaguing arrested another suspected drug pusher during buy-bust operation at around 4:20 p.m. on November 16 in Barangay Poblacion, in coordination with PDEA.

Dumaguing identified the arrested person as one Alifranco Sumagang, also known as Banaw.

During the operation, Sumagang handed one sachet of shabu to the poseur-buyer in exchange for P150.

The police team recovered the marked money, two opened medium-size sachets containing traces of shabu, a matchbox used as container of shabu, and a cellphone.

The inventory was conducted at the place of operation in the presence of Sumagang.
