Gov. Edgar Chatto will bring to the constituent doorstep in Calape tomorrow, Thursday, the HEAT IT Bohol Caravan, a signature capitol service program that makes the Boholanos more than feel the presence of the government.

More government agencies and private groups are expected to participate in the 23rd municipal leg of the multi-service caravan since its launching by the administration of Chatto and Vice Gov. Concepcion Lim four years ago.

Calape Mayor Sulpicio Yu, Jr. has this early  welcomed the HEAT IT conduct as it gives his people direct access to various essential programs and services of the provincial government in partnership with the national agencies and private sector.

Programs, services and interventions will be offered by the following agencies, organizations and foundations at their corresponding venues: Bohol Investment Promotions Center, Department of Trade and Industry, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth, Social Security System, Security and Exchange Commission, Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Department of Agrarian Reform, Provincial Assessor’s Office, Bohol Crisis Intervention Center and Simulation and Therapeutic Activity Center , Commission on Human Rights, and Social-Economic-Environmental Management Cluster at the Bohol Island State University Campus;

EdCenter, Department of Education, and Holy Name University at the Calape National High School (HNU will also have activities at the Calape Central Elementary School);

Philippine Information Agency, Bayanihan and Provincial Government of Bohol Basketball Clinic, Bohol Football Association, and  Pundok Bol-anong Eskrimador / Bohol Do-Kyohan Karate Association at the Calape Central Elementary School;

Provincial Library at the Sta. Cruz Day Care Center; Department of Labor and Employment Career Guidance Orientation, MART NSF in Calunasan; and National Movement of Young Legislators (distribution of slippers), Ulbujan Elementary School.

The HNU activities include re-orientation seminar on teaching strategies; storytelling; tutorials on English, Math and Science; orientation on climate change; basic counselling skills seminar; assessment of library system; taekwondo clinic; choral singing lessons; and dance clinic.

The Bohol Sandugo Jaycees will offer lectures on hog raising and poultry and game fowl breeding.

Also led by Chatto, the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) regular meeting will be held simultaneously with the HEAT IT caravan.
