There’s a new parking area for customers at the Island City Mall, located at the northwing of the mall, just across the Corporate Center of the Alturas Group of Companies, just beside its annex building.

Mall management announces that the North Carpark of ICM is now open to the public, exclusive for mall customers only. With an area of 1.2 hectares, the carpark is wide and spacious enough to accommodate at least 350 cars at any given time.

Manned by a security guard for safety and security of everyone, the entrance and exit gate for cars is facing the Integrated Bus Terminal. For shopping convenience, customers can pass the shortcut gate at the wall which is just a few steps to the entrance 2 of the mall that leads directly to the Home & Fashion Department and Supermarket, through the new escalators that connect the upper ground to the lower ground level of the mall.

Mall manager Mario F. Cirujales said the new parking area of the mall is just temporary for the meantime as the newly-acquired lot would be utilized for future development or expansions of the mall. He added that in a move to serve the customers better, Island City Mall would soon open the second phase of its newly-expanded Supermarket in the early part of September, next month.
