Two 48-year-old women were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Getafe on Monday.

Getafe police operatives set up the first buy-bust at 1:20 p.m. against Diosdada Ocaba, a resident of Barangay Nasingin of the said town.

Ocaba was immediately apprehended after her drug transaction with a police posing as a buyer.

Police recovered seven other packs of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu from the suspect following the arrest.

Thirty minutes later, a different police team conducted another sting operation in the same barangay.

Suspect Ma. Sayonara “Isay” Baguio was allegedly caught red-handed selling shabu worth P300 to an undercover cop during the said buy-bust.

Police said that four packets of shabu were found in the suspect’s possession as they frisked her.

According to the Getafe police, the two suspects are included in the town’s watchlist of drug personalities.

They previously surrendered to authorities through Oplan Tokhang, but reportedly continued to peddle illegal drugs.

Police also said that Baguio was previously detained for involvement in drug activities but allegedly sold drugs again as she got out.

Today, authorities file cases before the Bohol fiscal against the two suspects while personnel of the Bohol police crime lab at Camp Dagohoy continue to examine the evidence collected from Baguio and Ocaba. (Allen Doydora)
