Another self-confessed drug personality on Thursday was arrested in Tubigon through a buy-sbut operation conducted by municipal police.
Operatives of the Tubigon police in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the sting operation at 1:00 p.m. in Brgy. Genonocan, Tubigon against Crisante Javonitalla, 30.
The suspect, a resident of Brgy. Pooc Oriental of said town, was allegedly caught selling shabu worth P800 to a police poseur-buyer resulting in his immediate arrest.
Police said that they confiscated from Javonitalla five packets of suspected shabu.
Javonitalla previously surrendered uner Oplan Tokhang for being both drug user and pusher.
Hoever, police noted that the suspect continued to be involved in illegal drug activities after pledging to authorities that he would end drug use and sale.
Criminal complaints for possession and sale of illegal drugs against the suspect are set to be filed before the Bohol Prosecutor’s Office today. (Allen Doydora)Â
