A pregnant woman was found dead on Sunday in an apparent suicide inside her room in Purok2-B, Barangay Cabawan, Tagbilaran City.
Police identified the woman as 22-year-old Charlotte Sabijon, who was eight months pregnant and staying with her live-in partner in said address.
Based on the Tagbilaran City Police Station blotter, the incident took place at 2 a.m. on Sunday as reported by the victim’s live-in partner Charlito Flores.
Flores indicated that he found Sabijon’s lifeless body hanging from a rope wrapped around her neck as he came home from a funeral.
He then asked for neighbors’ help in taking down Sabijon’s body before responding authorities of Tarsier 117 arrived.
Police said that Sabijon did not leave a suicide note while Flores said that his live-in partner showed no signs of suicidal tendencies.
