Former City Kagawad Faro Cabalit died yesterday at the City Community Hospital. He was 66.

Cabalit was the former president of the Association of Barangay Council (ABC) in Tagbilaran City serving then as barangay captain of Taloto district, this city.

He served as Taloto barangay captain since the time of former City Mayor Joe Torralba until the term of former Mayor Dan Lim. He served three terms as city ABC president. He also served as consultant on baragay affairs under City Mayor Baba Yap.

His remains lie in state at the Cabalit residence. Date of interment will be announced later.(Allen Doydora)
