The icon of a strong willed police officer under the Duterte administration traces his roots to this island province.

Though he was not born in Bohol, PNP chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa says part of his ancestry could be connected to Antequera town since it is the hometown of his mother, Anesia Cruspero Marapon, who hails from Poblacion, Antequera.

Gen. dela Rosa admits that he was once a resident of Antequera town during his younger days while he used to stay with the family of his mother.

Rekindling his roots in Antequera, the Duterte top police officer scheduled a homecoming with his kins on Friday next week.
