National Bureau of Investigation agents conduct an inventory of confiscated contraband following a raid in Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested an allegedly armed suspect in a raid conducted at a small town lottery branch (STL) in Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City on Tuesday night for suspicion on illegal swertres activities.

NBI agents raided the STL office bearing a search warrant against the establishment’s incorporators identified as Purisimo Fernando, Anreo Fernando, Mercedita Fernando, Alma Taldo and Mericita Mansueto.

None of the incorporators were present during the NBI operation.

However, an undercover agent was reportedly able to make a swertres transaction with armed suspect Hero Rey Cenabre, monitoring personnel of the STL franchise.

Charges for illegal possession of firearms will be filed against the suspect.

Meanwhile, complaints will be filed against the incorporators of PF3 Games and Entertainment Corp for violations against Presidential Decree 1602 and Republic Act 9287, said Atty. Reynan Oliva NBI team leader of the operation. (Weli Maestrado)
