Parts of Bohol will experience a 13-hour power interruption tomorrow, said the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
According to Betty Martinez, NGCP Visayas spokesperson, the power outage will last from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This will affect areas served by the Boheco 1 including Tubigon, Balilihan, Catigbian, San Isidro, Clarin, Inabanga, Sagbayan, and areas from Giuwanon, Tubigon to Lucob, Calape, she said.
Power outage will ensue as Boheco 1 is scheduled to replace brittle electric posts and their wood parts that have started to decay.
The maintenance operation will be affecting the 69-kilovolt Corella-Macaas, Tubigon line.
According to the NGCP, it will exhaust measures to try and finish maintenance work before the announced power resumption of 6 p.m.
The operation was previously set today but was moved tomorrow due to an appeal made by Boheco. (Rey Tutas)
