Bohol boxing fans disappointed on Pacquiao-Mayweather bout

Boxing aficionados in Bohol expressed disappointment at how the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout clinched, losing sense of the five-year waiting.

Local boxing analyst, Glenn Lumantao, said the there had been too much media hype only to end up in a boring fight.

During the five years that the match had been in negotiation table, Lumantao had been expected Mayweather to be running away from Pacquiao—exactly how the defending champion turned out on fight night.

Mayor Yap gets an overwhelming 91% Satisfaction Rating

yapAccording to the recent results of the highly respected Holy Name University Center for Research and Publications Bohol Poll 2015, City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap’s rating went up by 20 points from last year’s results, an overwhelming majority (91%) were satisfied with his performance as City Mayor, while (3%) were undecided and a few (6%) were dissatisfied, which resulted to an Excellent net satisfaction rating of +85. As for the other performance indicators of the City Government, the results were also higher compared to 2014, clearly showing that Mayor Yap is indeed sincere in his wholehearted efforts of uplifting our beloved City of Tagbilaran.
