Last termer City Mayor Dan Lim fielded his wife Dr. Sharleen Lim for vice governor and his brother, Dr. Abraham Lim for city mayor for the coming elections.
Mayor Lim himself is running for congressman in the first district.
The three Lims are under the Bagong Bolanon after Mayor Lim did the drum beating to strongly endorse Carmen Mayor Conchita Toribio de los Reyes as their gubernatorial bet to challenge Gov. Edgar Chatto in next year's mid-year election.
The three Lims are finding themselves in the political arena while their nephew, city mayoralty bet Baba Yap is running against his uncle, Abraham Lim.
De los Reyes filed her certificate of candidacy last Monday in the presence of Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay with lots of funfare as she celebrated her 52nd natal day.
In the congressional race, Rep. Erico Aumentado is running for his second term in the second district while Rep. Arthur Yap guns in the third district, both under the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC).
Reports indicate that Aumentado will be comfortable with the Bagong Bolanon as his attempt to join the Liberal Party was blocked with the influence of former Rep. Roberto Cajes with the Aquino administration. Yap is yet to issue his official pronouncement since Del los Reyes earlier made public that she could not accept Yap in their group.
