Everyone is pressing that the Coco Martin-Julia Montes pair should get from reel to real. Julia, who will turn 18 soon, has nothing but good words for her partner in Wansapanatym Presents “Yamashita Treasures” Coco as a “good, caring man and any woman would fall for him”. But right now Julia is focused on career and providing for her family and same with Coco. Level headed kids- tularan ninyo, kiddos. No rush. Meanwhile, beauteous diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, Dolphy’s widow, is reportedly planning to be wedded to Architect Onglao-without objections from Dolphy’s kids, according to Eric Quizon. The family had disposed of Dolphy’s assets and will use the proceeds to set up a Dolphy Museum in a Tanay property with bed and breakfast facilities. Do them right, Eric and Zsa, or Dolphy from his death, will humor you-with an unannounced visit or a phone call-knowing him. Ahoho.
Saddest news to hit Tinseltown was about cancer survivor actress Liezl Martinez (since 2008) who died in her sleep last Saturday. Just when they thought the stem cell therapy was working, she passed away at Medical City, Pasig. She was gifted with the beauty of parents Amalia Fuentes and Romeo Vasquez (Sumilang) and a devoted husband in drama icon Albert Martinez. Despite her illness, Liezl remained cheerful and kind, worked at MTRCB passionately and will be missed by Show Biz. Alex Gonzaga, already an author of a runaway best seller juvenile book has crashed into the recording business with her debut CD “I Am Alex”, even though her voice is thinner than that of sister Toni. What Alex does not have in bodily assets (though pretty faced)-she makes up with overflowing -sometimes- (over)confidence. Go, girl. No one can make you inferior-against your will.
