At least two flights were cancelled yesterday after a plane of Air-Asia got stalled at the runway after arriving shortly after noon time.

Cebu Pacific flight from Manila has to divert its route to Mactan International Airport while the PAL flight was also affected.

The construction of the emergency ramp is deemed necessary since it can save the whole day from getting interrupted flights just because a plane is stalled at the tarmac of the Tagbilaran City Airport.

The city has nine flights daily to and from Manila.
