The next in line followed an alleged drug queen to jail after Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and the police team of Dauis seized a bulk of shabu with street value of P120,000 in a recent operation.
This followed after Provincial Intelligence Branch chief, Senior Inspector Jojit Mananquil, told the media that the police now targets big-time drug pushers.
The composite team of CIDG, PDEA and Dauis police arrested one Reynald Synconigue—also known as Jingkee–a 40-year-old resident of Biking II, Dauis, an alleged accomplice of one Razilyn Rosalinda Tecson who was earlier arrested in barangay Bingag, Dauis.
Authorities seized a total of 10 grams of shabu placed in three big packs, and five smaller packs from Synconigue along with several drug paraphernalia during the raid on May 21.
Also captured in a separate raid in Purok 6, Biking I, Dauis was Virgilio Nercuit—also known as Ver—who yielded five packs of shabu.
Nercuit, a 47-year-old resident of barangay Biking I, yielded five small 5 packs of shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
According to SPO1 Romel Libaton of Dauis police station, both Synconigue and Nercuit had been in their watchlist as notorious drug pushers.
The CIDG, led by Police Chief Inspector Teodoro Tadeo Santos Jr., PDEA and the Dauis police team conducted the raids based on the search warrant issued by Acting Executive Judge Jennifer Chavez Marcos of the Regional Trial Court Branch 2 in Tagbilaran City.
The raids were conducted in the presence of barangay officials, Gaspar Dangoy—representing the Department of Justice and members of the local media.
In Jagna, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team—led by Superintendent Nicomedes Olaivar–and the police force of the town—led by Inspector Luciano Kinilitan—arrested another alleged drug personality identified as one Mark Jason Oclarit, 27, single and a native of barangay West Canayaon, Garcia Hernandez but was temporarily residing in barangay Pangdan, Jagna.
The composite police team arrested Oclarit through a buy-bust operation in barangay Looc, Jagna at around 12:05 a.m. on May 23.
The police team recovered the sachet of shabu that Oclarit handed to the poseur-buyer and the marked money.
Also seized from Oclarit during the frisk that followed were one sachet of shabu, a piece of tinfoil, one stick of marijuana, a black wallet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves and seeds, two disposable lighters, and a cellphone, and his Yamaha DT motorcycle.
