Loay Public School Teachers hold mid-year In Service Training (INSET) last Oct. 26-30, 2015 at Senate President Protempore Jose A. Clarin Memorial School (SPPJACMS) Loay, Bohol.
The week long activity was opened last Monday at the Jala Resort in Barangay Villalimpia, with Casiana P. Caberte, the chief Curriculum Instruction Division, as guest speaker.
The event is mandated under DepEd Order #425 s.2015 as part of the yearly activity of teachers.
The event is geared to enhance and upgrade the teaching strategies of teachers.
The topics discussed during the senimar were K to 12 Assessment, Enhancing Research Skills, Strategies and Interventions in Science and Math, Campus Journalism, Sports, Guidance Counseling and Values Education.
Rosa M. Tan, District Supervisor encouraged all teachers to participate actively in the said event with high hopes that the insights of this training and seminar will be applied in their respective schools.
Meanwhile, the SPPJACMS Principal, Josefina R. Batilong announced the schedule of upcoming District Academic and Literary Musical (ALM) contest which will be held on November 16, 2015 at SPPJACMS.
The event was ended last Friday, October 30, 2015 at 5 o’clock in the afternoon with a closing program. (By Hazel C. Leopando)
