Dr. Rhine Victoriano T. Pamaong, president of the Confederation of Boholanos in the United States and Canada (CONBUSAC) will induct the new officers of Sandugo USA Family Club of New York and Jersey during its
annual Christmas gathering on Saturday December 12, 2015 to be held at Best Western Plus Regency Hotel in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
Dr. Pamaong took the CONBUSAC presidency in an election held last July during the 16th biennial convention held in New Jersey. Dr. Pamaong who lives in Vaughan City in Toronto, Ontario, Canada becomes the first
CONBUSAC president residing outside the United States.
Josephine Josol Sarabosing will take her oath as new Sandugo president replacing Malou Galang whose term will end this month.
Sarabosing who hails from Calape town is a product of the Bohol Provincial Hospital School of Nursing Class 1979 of the Alverians. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Bohol. She is presently  connected with Kindred Hospital in Dover, New Jersey.
The new Sandugo Family club president vowed to continue raising funds to help Boholanos who have less in life. The club has been an consistent donor to Inyong Alagad Foundation for more than 25 years now. The organized
fund raising activities intend to generate funds in order to provide financial assistance to Boholano indigents who are in immediate need of medicines and other health issues.
It may be recalled that the Sandugo USA family club remitted $3,000 dollars to the Bohol Chronicle and Station DYRD Inyong Alagad Disaster Fund after that disastrous 7.2 earthquake that struck the province of Bohol on
Oct. 13, 2013. At the same time, the Sandugo USA Youth Club headed by Bo Dante-Constantino collected $2,400 dollars from generous donors from New Jersey and turned-over the amount to Station DYRD intended for the earthquake victims.
The new Sandugo USA president is married to former Tagbilaran City Fiscal Raymundo Sarabosing, Jr., who is currently a licensed realtor in New Jersey. They are blessed with one daughter, Joy, a registered nurse employed as an ER (Emergency Room) nurse at Harlem Hospital in New York City.
The new officers who will serve for two years are: Josephine Josol Sarabosing, president; Lourdes Bernido, 1st vice president; Lynlyn Racho, 2nd vice president; Maggie Dejaresco, secretary; Tita Dompor, assistant secretary; Nene Dante, treasurer; Peg Maghuyop, assistant treasurer; Nilda Galang, auditor; Mila Frejoles, assistant auditor. The Board of Directors include Malou Galang, immediate past president, Socorro Parras, Annabelle Tinampay and Nena Maceren. Annabelle Remolador is the PRO.
Lourdes Bernido will deliver the welcome address. Larry Galang, past CONBUSAC president, will introduce the inducting officer and guest speaker. Dr. Rod Penalosa will provide a singing rendition while Vilma Ungab will perform a surprise number. Malou Galang will deliver the closing remarks. Jay-Ann Galang and Fritzie Dacula will be the masters of ceremony.
