The town of Carmen, Bohol will celebrate its fiesta this coming Sunday, January 17, in honor of its patron saint, Saint Anthony de Abbot, highlighted by nightly presentations from the different government agencies, private establishments, and individual donors.

In the opening night last Friday, January 8, the first day of the nine-day novenario, was a Variety Show, featuring Dos Compañeros, with a magic show; while last night was a Basketball & Volleyball Tournament.

Tonight, the Bohol Institute of Technology (BIT) will present another Variety Show, while tomorrow night, is DepEd Night dubbed as “A Night to Remember”, followed by Saint Anthony’s Academy (SAA) Night on Tuesday, January 12.

Bohol’s premiere party band, CenterStage, will keep the ground movin’, groovin’ and shakin’ in a concert party at the town gym on Wednesday night, January 13, sponsored by Zaneskin Beauty Products, Reniero “Popoy” Toribio, Zenzen Toribio, and  Mr. & Mrs. Nilo Galang. Powered by JVL Pro-Sounds, the fiesta concert event is coordinated by MSWDO and LCR, with Kag. Danilo Palgan and Kag. Nathaniel Binlod.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) and DepEd both presented cultural and variety shows last Thursday and Friday, August 8 and 9, respectively; while last night was BQ Night.

On Thursday night, January 14, the Alturas Group of Companies presents a Variety Show featuring Inday Rufing & Angels, while the following Friday night, January 15, is another concert with local band, Infinity, sponsored by the Carmenanon Association in Metro Manila, Inc. (CAMMI) and coordinated by the Treasurer’s Office, Kag. Carlito Samante and Kag. Nathaniel Binlod.

On January 16, Saturday, vesper night is another live band concert sponsored by Mayor Jun Toribio and former Mayor Che Toribio delos Reyes, coordinated by Kag. Nathaniel Binlod; while on fiesta night, January 17, is a Grand Fiesta Disco, sponsored by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carmen.
