As you read this message, I wish that you are having a grand time with your family and friends. As we celebrate our fiesta in honour of St. Joseph the Worker, we also take this opportunity to bond with our family, relatives and friends. The fiesta is such a special time to catch up, strengthen and renew ties with the people who have helped us in our journey. Most importantly, our fiesta celebration is a gesture of our thanksgiving to God for all the blessings that He has given us.

It is my sincerest hope that our celebration today will bring fulfilment to our hearts as we generously share our time, resources and efforts to our invited guests. For my dear Tagbilaranons, let us also take this occasion to be part of the various activities which the City Government has prepared, the SAULOG TAGBILARAN. I see this as an effective avenue to generate community participation and therefore enhance camaraderie and teamwork within our beloved City. I was truly overwhelmed by the unity of participation and support that you have shown in the various activities. I am taking this as a concrete sign of your trust and confidence in our mission of making Tagbilaran truly progressive and sustainable.
