Daily accidents involving motorcycles continue to mount after a 58 yr. old man identified as Felix Amolato Salas was killed when the motorcycle he was driving slammed into an oncoming motorcycle in a corner of the national highway in Barangay Panadtaran, Candijay at 10:18 yesterday morning, Monday, May 2, 2016.

According to initial police investigation, Salas, a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Candijay hit Jhay-R Dajalos, a non-uniform personnel (NUP) of the Mabini Police Station who was on his white Yamaha XTZ 125.

Salas died at the scene of the accident and was declared dead on arrival while Dajalos, 24 is recuperating in the hospital from head wounds sustained in the collision.

Both Salas and Dajalos were found by police driving without licenses and certificates of registration for the motorcycles they used. (Chito M. Visarra with reports from Allen Doydora)
