The family of Marianito Corbito, a security guard of Card Bank is appealing to police authorities to bring to justice the killers of their son who was shot dead in broad daylight on Saturday morning at 11:00, May 21, 2016.
Friends of Corbito were in a state of shock upon hearing of his untimely death from the hands of two unidentified killers riding in tandem who pumped several bullets that hit his head and parts of his body.
Corbito was shadowed by his masked killers who were on a Kawasaki Fury up to the corner of Lamdagan St. and Airport Road when he made a stop at the side of the road to answer a call from his cellular phone.
At this juncture, the masked killers shot him at point blank range and immediately fled by motorcycle.
Police said that there was no immediate apparent motive for the shooting.
Corbito left behind a wife and four kids.
Several unsolved murders were believed to be drug related but according to close associates of Corbito they could not find any reason to link him to any criminal activities. (Chito M. Visarra with reports from Allen Doydora)
