Third term Governor Edgar Migrino Chatto will take his oath as elected governor of Bohol before Justice Gabriel Ingles, Executive Justice of the Court of Appeals and chairperson of the Eighteenth Division based in Cebu City.
Vice Governor and Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Presiding Officer Dionisio Balite will take his oath of office before Justice Pamela Ann Abella Maxino, chairperson of the Twentieth Division of the Court of Appeals in Cebu City
The traditional oath taking ceremonies will be held at the Bohol Cultural Center on Thursday, June 30, 2016.
Provincial Administrator Alfonso Damalerio lll told DYRD “Inyong Alagad” that the oath taking ceremonies will be ushered in by a thanksgiving mass at the St. Joseph Cathedral officiated by Bishop Leonardo Medroso at 7:15 in the morning.
The three district Congressmen and the ten Board Members (BM) will also take their oath of office before officials of their choice.
Chatto will be serving his last three years as governor until June 30, 2019.
Also serving their last three-year term are 1st and 2nd district Congressmen Rene Relampagos and Arthur Yap.
Board members (BM) Vencenzio Arcamo and Abeleon Damalerio, both from the 1st district will be serving out their last three years up to 2019.
Second district BM Tomas Abapo, Jr, and 3rd district BM Elpidio Jala will take their oath as second term members of SP.
The new board members who will also take their oaths of office are 1st district BM Ricky Masamayor, 2nd district BM’s Nino Rey Boniel and Agapito Avenido and 3rd district BM’s Kristine Alexie Tutor, Dionisio Victor Balite and Jane Jade Bautista. (Chito Visarra with reports from Rey Tutas)
