The state weather bureau expects up to three more storms to hit the country this month.
The next storm to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will be named Carina, Leonar Samar, head of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services (PAGASA) office in Bohol told DYRD Balita.
Samar said that a low pressure area (LPA) hovering east of the country is already inside the PAR and is bringing rains in several provinces including Bohol.
The LPA is located 525 kilometers east of Baler Aurora.
However, the LPA is not expected to intensify into a storm as it is about to make landfall and likely to dissipate.
According to Samar, a cloud cluster is currently being observed by the weather bureau  as forecasters expect it to intensify into an LPA. (with reports from Allen Doydora)
