The thirteenth film in the globally popular Star Trek franchise and the third installment in director J.J. Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) and the crew of the USS Enterprise are halfway into their five-year space mission, exploring the furthest reaches of the uncharted space. When attacked by a seemingly unstoppable wave of unknown aliens, they were forced to abandon ship. Stranded on an unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, the crew find themselves trapped against a new and ruthless enemy who puts them to the battle test.
