A suspected pusher listed by Valencia police as the number one drug personality in the town was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday evening.
According to Senior Insp. Ardioleto Cabagnot, Valencia police chief, suspect Raymundo Diacor Jr., 42, previously surrendered to municipal authorities through Oplan Tokhang but continued to peddle illegal drugs.
In monitoring operations, police found out that Diacor continued to run illegal drug activities in Barangay Poblacion of the said town which prompted operatives to conduct the buy-bust against him.
Diacor, a resident of Brgy. Cammanico in Valencia, was also previously detained for the possession of illegal drugs.
The suspect was immediately rearrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P300 to a police poseur-buyer during the said buy-bust.
Cabagonot said that the operatives recovered seven packs of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia from Diacor following his arrest.
Authorities are set to file charges against the suspect for violating Section 5 and Section 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (Willy Maestrado)
