This year’s walk-for-a-cause event of the Alay Lakad will be held on September 25, its local executive committee chair, City Admiistrator Leonides “Edi” Borja, said.

The said committee including its vice-chair Jerry Lim and Tagbilaran City Mayor Geesnell “Baba” Yap convened on Wednesday to finalize plans for the event.

Borja noted that the committee’s goal for this year is to raise P300,000, which will be used to fund education of select scholars.

Last year, the event organizers collected enough money to enroll ten students in college. (Willy Maestrado)
