An alleged big-time pusher and 15 drug suspects including a minor were arrested by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents in an interdiction operation in Brgy. Cogon, Tagbilaran City at 11 p.m. Friday.
The operation’s main subject, identified as 26-year-old Randy Rama, a resident of Brgy. Dampas in the city, was arrested inside room 20 of Reyna’s Haven and Garden along New Calceta St.
According to Atty. Arcelito Albao, NBI-Bohol executive officer, they have been monitoring the activities of Rama in the previous weeks before they finally moved in to arrest the suspect.
The NBI agents also conducted a “sale bust†which resulted in the arrests of drug suspects Rodel Pacna, 26; John Bingson, 25; Julius Banal, 36; Lloyd Pastrana, 36; Noli Hilot, 52; Edmerson Bumaat, 39; Juleto Salazar, 30; Jerome Borja, 18; and Romualdo Coto, 36; all residents of Tagbilaran City.
Operatives also collared suspects from various towns including Jovy Artequesa of Maribojoc, 21; Archel Potrias of Guindulman, 21; Eduard Quiño of Balilihan, 23; Arnold Salig of Loon, 31; and Jake Baja of Baclayon, 24.
Also arrested was a 17-year-old minor from Misamis in Mindanao.
All of the suspects are currently detained at the lock-up jail of the NBI pending the filing of drug charges against them. (Rey Tutas)
