The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) has set an investigation on complaints against branches of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Bohol.
Members of the SP arranged the probe after the Office of the Vice-Governor expressed concern over the mounting complaints involving the LTO it has been receiving.
Among the public’s recent top concerns is the continued unavailability of plastic driver’s licenses.
The SP’s committee on public utilities and franchises chaired by Liga ng mga Barangay president Romulo Cepedoza, an ex-officio board member, will conduct the probe on problems in LTO offices in Jagna, Talibon and Tagbilaran City.
For his part, Aloy Balazuela of the LTO Tagbilaran District Office said that the delay in the distribution of plastic driver’s licenses has been caused by problems in the manufacture’s side. (R. Tutas)
