A live-in couple were held up by two armed men while the victims were peddling fish in Brgy. Buenos Aires, Carmen on Tuesday.
The victims were identified as Anador Candog, 40, and Luz Hangad, both residents of Brgy. Yananga, Bilar.
According to police, the victims were flagged down by the two suspects who pointed their guns at Candog and Hangad declaring a holdup.
Out of fear, the victims immediately gave up their possessions including money worth P1,500, the couple’s earnings from selling fish.
The victims narrated that both unidentified suspects immediately fled from the area by going through a grassland in the village.
Carmen police continue to conduct their investigation as they track down the suspects. Â (Willy Maestrado)Â
