Police arrested a man listed as the number one drug personality in the town of Tubigon in a buy-bust operation at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Ariel Omania, a resident of Brgy. Cawayanan, Tubigon, was allegedly caught red-handed selling illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer.
Omania reportedly sold three small packets of suspected shabu worth P600 resulting in his immediate arrest.
According to Tubigon police, the suspect is a noted drug pusher who had surrender under Oplan Tokhang.
However, Omania allegedly continued to conduct illegal drug activities after yielding to the Tubigon police.
Authorities today filed charges against the suspect for violating Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Anti-Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Allen Doydora)Â
