A security guard will be facing a criminal complaint for qualified theft after he was caught on a closed-circuit television camera stealing ice cream from his employer at a warehouse along CPG North Avenue, Brgy. Cogon, Tagbilaran City.

Ruel Balo, the coordinator of Coldlink Asia Logsitic Corp., reported the incident to the police after finding out on Monday morning that a stock of Selecta Ice Cream was missing from the warehouse.

The incident prompted the logistics company to examine the CCTV footage which showed security guard Dominic Quibol stealing a 1.5-liter ice cream at 1:10 p.m. on October 31.

Based on detail assignment log, Quibol, a Loboc resident, was the guard on duty during the time of the incedent.

The ice cream he allegedly stole was worth P240. (Willy Maestrado)
