Capitol and Tagbilaran City Hall will hold a joint commemorative program in honor of Andres Bonifacio on the hero’s birth anniversary tomorrow.
The celebration of Bonifacio’s 153rd birthday will be highlighted by a short program at the City Square which will be attended by students, teachers, police, military, religious sector, and officials of various government offices.
Prior to the activity, a parade from Plaza Rizal to City Square from Plaza Rizal will be held early in the afternoon.
The activities will joined by Governor Edgar Chatto and Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap who will deliver speeches during the event which is themed “My Modern Day Hero, Anti-drug Crusader.â€
Bohol Provincial Police Office director Senior Supt. Felipe Natividad is also expected to deliver a message for the attendees.
Policemen and military personnel will be presenting an intermission number while various groups will join a drama contest. (Rey Tutas)Â
