A Boholano ranked fourth in the Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LET) for elementary level while the Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Tagbilaran City ranked second in terms of passing rate nationwide.
Maria Herna Sadudaquil Macas, a graduate of the Bohol Institute of Technology-Jagna, scored a rating of 87.40 percent in the examinations topping 23,378 passers and a total of 77,446 examinees.
Meanwhile, BISU had a passing rate of 91.89 percent as 68 out of 74 examinees of the school passed the examinations held in September this year.
The highest passing rate was scored by the University of Santo Tomas at 97.79 percent as 133 out of 136 examinees from the Manila-based school passed the LET.
Mark Penuliar Castillo, a graduate of the Tarlac State University, and Lady Princess Sanguyo Marcelo, a graduate of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, topped the LET with a score of 88.20 percent.
In the LET for secondary level, 31,334 out of 92,754 examinees passed the tests. (Rey Tutas)
