In the city police’s continued crackdown on illegal drug activities, a male drug suspect was arrested through a buy-bust operation conducted on Wednesday night.

The arrested alleged drug pusher was identified as Miguel “Egie” Kibir, a resident of Jansen Heights in Barangay Dampas, Tagbilaran City.

According to police, the sting operation was immediately set up after finding out that Kibir was dealing drugs outside his residence at 6:10 p.m.

The suspect reportedly sold shabu worth P500 to a police posing as a buyer during the operation.

During the arrest, police recovered three packets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia from the suspect’ possession.

According to SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay who led the operation, Kibir is included in the city police’s drug watch list as a newly known drug personality.

Bagotchay said that charges for selling and possession of illegal drugs will be filed against Kibir. (Weli Maestrado)
