A man included in the Bohol police Provincial Public Safety Battalion (PPSC) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City early Thursday morning.
Suspect Jovanne Ighot, 23, a resident of Brgy. Ubujan Tagbilaran City, was nabbed by PPSC policemen at 3:00 a.m. after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover cop.
Ighot reportedly noticed that he was transacting with a poseur-buyer prompting him to flee but was shortly after cornered inside his home by the operatives.
Police said that they recovered .09 grams of shabu estimated to be worth P6,000 from the suspect.
According to PPSC chief Police Supt. Patricio Degay Jr., the suspect has long been included in their wacthlist but did not surrender under Oplan Tokhang.
Degay said that the suspect will be charged for violating Repblic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Weli Maestrado)
