The highest ranking police official in Central Visayas who is based in the Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 in Cebu City will be arriving tomorrow morning to conduct a command visit in Bohol.
According to Bohol police spokesperson Sr. Insp. Vincent Dumaguing, PRO 7 director Chief Supt. Noli Taliño will be meeting Bohol’s 48 chiefs of police to possibly discuss the relaunching of “Oplan Tokhang.â€
Taliño is expected to arrive at 8 a.m. from Cebu with deputy regional director for operations Senior Supt. Rey Lyndon Lawas.
Dumaguing said that upon arrival, the two police officials will join the inauguration of the new police station in Cortes Town.
Taliño will then address Bohol’s police forces led by provincial director Sr. Supt. Felipe Natividad at Camp Dagohoy for the command conference.
According to Dumaguing, Taliño and his staff will also be joining a “boodle fight†with Bohol police personnel.
Before leaving for Cebu, Taliño is expected to meet representatives from the Panglao Resorts Security Officers (PARSO) which is comprised of policemen and barangay, municipal and resort officials.
The group will discuss with the PRO-7 chief matters involving security in the area particularly those regularly visited by tourists. (Rey Tutas)
