A 70-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a fish delivery truck in Poblacion 2, Tagbilaran City on Sunday morning.
According to police investigation, victim Zenon Barimbao, a resident of Barangay Ubujan, Tagbilaran City, was hit by the speeding vehicle in front of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church (K of C) as he crossed the street.
Barimbao was rushed to the Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Dawn Fontanar.
The victim was reportedly hit by an Isuzu pickup truck driven by one Jaime Iyog, a 63-year-old resident of Barangay Taguihon, Baclayon.
