A man tagged by authorities as a “motornapper” was arrested after he was allegedly caught selling illegal drugs in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday.

Suspect Julie Rey Omac, 25, was taken into police custody following a drug buy-bust operation at 11:50 p.m. along Belderol St., Barangay Coon in Tagbilaran City.

Omac, a native of Barangay Dagohoy, Bilar, was allegedly seen selling illegal drugs along the said road.

Police operatives led by Sr. Insp. Erano Regidro then set up the buy bust wherein the suspect reportedly sold shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer.

In a report, police said that three more packets of shabu were found in the suspect’s possession.

The seized drugs weighed one gram and was estimated to be worth P11,800.

According to authorities, illegal drug charges will be filed against the Omac who is already facing a criminal complaint for stealing motorcycles. (WM)
