A man tagged by authorities as a drug personality yielded guns and suspected shabu in a police raid on an alleged drug den in Tagbilaran City at 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
Joint operatives of the Criminal Investigation Group (CIDG 7) and the Tagbilaran City Police Office arrested suspect Alan Tomo, 46 in his residence at Barangay Ubujan.
The policemen bearing a search warrant issued by Judge Suseso Arcamo of Regional Trial Court Branch 48 found three pistols and illegal drugs.
In a report, police indicated that they found a .45 caliber pistol with serial number and two live rounds, a 9mm pistol with serial number and three live rounds and a .38 revolver with two live rounds.
According to authorities, Tomo was unable to present documents for the said firearms.
Meanwhile, operatives also recovered four packets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia inside the suspected drug den.
Tomo was taken to Camp Dagohoy for booking and documentation and is now in the custody of the CIDG Bohol pending the filing of charges against him.
Cases for violations against Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being prepared against the suspect. (W. Maestrado)
