A former Army captain on Tuesday surrendered to authorities of the Tagbilaran City police for a robbery charge filed before a Quezon City court.
The suspect, Dexter Balane, a resident of Barangay San isidro in Tagbilaran City presented himself before police after being notified of an arrest warrant issued against him.
Said warrant was signed by Judge Rosanna Romero-Maglaya, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 88 in Quezon City.
The suspect then posted bail which was set at P100,000 for his temporary liberty.

Balane has been implicated in other robbery cases in the past and was also charged.
However, two criminal complaints filed against him were dismissed by prosecutors due to lack of evidence of his participation in the crimes. (WM)
