A gasoline station in Corella was robbed by two men, one of them armed, at past 5 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Corella Police Station officer-in-charge SPO4 Luciano Fuentes, the two suspects pretended to have their XRM motorcycle filled up at a Caltex gasoline station in Barangay Poblacion.

The passenger alighted the motorcycle and went to the cashier’s booth which was reportedly left open, said Fuentes based on their initial investigation.

The suspect then pulled out a pistol from his waist and held cashier Mary Jane Plaza at gunpoint while he declared a robbery.

Both suspects immediately left the scene after taking money, Fuentes said.

Employees of the gasoline station told police that the suspects stole P6,000 from the cash register.
