The Bohol Island State University (BISU)-Main Campus was ranked as the third best performing school in the recently concluded Civil Engineering Licensure Examination with passing rate of 87.04 percent.
Based on test results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Tuesday, 47 out of 54 examinees from BISU passed the licensure test.
BISU, among schools with 50 or more examinees, ranked next to first and second placers University of the Philippines-Diliman and UP-Los Baños, respectively.
A total of 113 out of 116 examinees from UP-Diliman passed the exam earning the school a 97.41 percent passing rate.
Meanwhile, UP-Los Baños attained a passing rate of 96.65 percent as 56 out of its 58 examinees passed the PRC test.

According to the PRC, 6,075 out of 12,447 (48.81%) passed the exams which were administered in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
