Christmas is just around the corner, and so is Tagbilaran City’s first J.Co Donuts and Coffee branch.
The gourmet donuts and hand-crafted coffee store which traces its roots to Jakarta, Indonesia is arriving in Bohol this December, at the Island City Mall.
Boholanos can now find themselves enjoying an innovative range of donuts with quirky names, and full-bodied comforting cups of J.Cofee beverages.
On top of the fast-growing J.Co chain’s array of donuts is the Alcapone, J.Co’s signature soft-bite donut topped with white Belgian chocolate with sliced roasted Californian almonds.
Other donut favorites are Oreology, Coco Loco and Black Jack for chocolate lovers; Mr. Green T and Green Tease for matcha lovers; Blueberry more and Avocado di Caprio are for those who like their donuts fruity or with a hint of tartness.
The store also offers J.Pops (bite-size baby donuts), J.Club (donut sandwiches) and J. Cool (frozen yogurt).
J.Co started in 2005 with a cozy donut shop in Jakarta but quickly grew in the following years successfully penetrating into the local market in Indonesia against Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts.
After it reached Philippine shores in 2012, J. Co now has over 40 branches across the archipelago today.
