The municipality of Panglao ranked fifth and bagged a minor award during the Sinulog Festival street dance competition held in Cebu City on Sunday.
The 380-strong contingent from Panglao was also adjudged as the second best in the musicality category.
Panglao was among the five out-of-town contingents that joined the annual festival.
The Panglao delegation was comprised of 80 performers and 300 prop handlers and lead dancers.
Meanwhile, the Carcar contingent was chosen as grand champion for the street dance competition.

The group was also awarded as the Sinulog-based champion, best in Costume and best in musicality. (ad)
