A priority drug target of the Dauis Police Station was allegedly caught in possession of shabu worth P150,000 and an unlicensed firearm during a drug raid on Wednesday night.
The operation’s target, Richard Lumagbas, 38, was arrested in his temporary residence in Barangay Totolan, Dauis along with one Mark Dolauta, 24, by Dauis police operatives.
In a report, police said that they found 17 packets and one large pack of shabu with an estimated weight of 10 grams inside the house of Lumagbas.
Some of the sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found in Dolauta’s possession.
Police also found a fully loaded .22 caliber revolver in Lumagbas’ residence, police added.
The operatives led by Dauis police chief Insp. Gerard Luna raided the house bearing a search warrant issued by Judge Suseso Arcamo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 47 in Tagnilaran City.
Both suspects are now detained at the Dauis Police Station lock-up facility while drug charges are set to be filed against them. (wm)
