The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Wednesday announced that officials of the agency in Central Visayas including Bohol have been reshuffled.
Samuel Alabat was named chief of LTO Tagbilaran while he was replaced by Macario Geteruelas as chief of LTO Jagna, said LTO Tagbilaran information officer Florencio Balazuela.
Getaruelas who was LTO Tagbilaran chief in 2006 was transferred from LTO Medellin in Cebu.
Meanwhile, Erwin Patalinghug who was the last chief of LTO Tagbilaran was named assistant chief of the LTO-7’s operations division.
The region-wide reshuffling was implemented through the orders of LTO-7 director Victor Caindec.
According to Balazuela, the turnover ceremonies were held on Monday at the LTO office in Tagbilaran.
LTO 7 operations chief Joel Maloloy-on was guest of honor during the turnover rites.
The reshuffling was carried out throughout Central Visayas but several officials remained in their positions, said Balazuela.
Sandre Padrigo is still chief of LTO Talibon and Sonia Calolong is still the head of the Driver’s License Renewal Office at the Island City Mall. (R. Tutas)
