A self-confessed drug pusher and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs to an undercover policeman in Cortes town.
The suspects, Ryan Nguho, 34, of Barangay Upper Dela Paz in Cortes and the minor, were arrested through a drug buy-bust operation on Saturday night.
Police said that the suspects were spotted selling illegal drugs in Barangay Manga in Tagbilaran City prompting authorities to trail them and set up the anti-drug operation.
Nguho and the minor who were riding a motorcycle were able to immediately flee from arresting police officers after the staged drug transaction.
However, the operatives were able to catch up and corner the fleeing suspects, police said.
Nguho was also caught in possession of two more packets of shabu worth P1,500 upon his arrest.
He is now detained at the Cortes police lock-up jail while charges are set to be filed against him.
According to authorities, Nguho previously surrendered through police anti-drug campaign Oplan Tokhang but still continued to sell illegal drugs after. (wm)
