There was no letup in the Bohol Provincial Police Office’s (BPPO) anti-drug drive even amid the Holy Week break as police authorities arrested seven drug suspects including an alleged big-time female narcotics dealer in a four-day span starting Tuesday.
Various units under the BPPO in coordination with the 702nd Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-7 through separate operations seized over P330,000 worth of suspected shabu, which were mostly confiscated from big-time drug personality Jasmin Suico who was arrested on Wednesday.
Suico, a 41-year-old resident of Barangay Sambog in Corella, along with overseas Filipino worker Jovenal Remolador, was arrested by operatives of the BPPO Provincial Intelligence Branch inside the Mellow Apartelle in Tagbilaran City.
Both suspects allegedly yielded 20 grams of shabu which were valued at P300,000.
In Panglao, Sandro Perocho, a resident of Barangay Lourdes of said town, was arrested by the RMFB-7 on Friday afternoon. He was the last to be collared in the string of anti-drug operations carried out by police authorities during the Holy Week break.
Meanwhile, other nabbed drug personalities were identified as Ricardo Pilio who was arrested in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday, Kelly Cubandocos and Kevin Andrew Arbitrario in Panglao on Wednesday and Tilo Dequito Jr. in Tagbilaran on Wednesday.
Pilio and Diquito were allegedly caught in possession of shabu stashes worth P15,000 each.
All seven suspects are now detained in lock-up facilities in Panglao and Tagbilaran City pending the filing of drug charges against them after government offices reopen on Monday.
